The general consensus amongst the Transformers fandom is that it's 25 days 'till the teaser trailer is revealed to the world.

Given that they have only just started filming, I don't know how good the trailer will be

The teaser trailers for X-men 3 and Superman weren't anything special really, a 5/10 second glimpse of the S insignia, Woleverine's 3 claws, etc.

This isn't meant to show any content from the actual film, just to let the general public know it's coming, and when.

I imagine we'll get the shadow of an actual Transformer if we're lucky.

As for it being better than the original movie...I've seen the first over 100 times in my life easily.

In my eyes, I doubt it'll top the old movie (which I freely admit was full of plot-holes, and for all intents and purposes was actually quite rubbish. Ah, nostalgia!

) but I imagine it'll be much more entertaining for people who are new to the franchise and have no idea who the characters are, etc.

Just thought of something do you reckon Kup will make an appearance? I'd love to see him re-vamped for a new generation [img]smile.gif[/img]

Me too actually.

He's not in the cast that's gonna appear in this movie, but everyone involved says that they're planning on making this a trilogy, so maybe he'll make a cameo appearence in this one and appear in one of the other two movies.

Personally, I'd love to see Sideswipe on the big screen, but he's not in the initial cast lineup either, ah well. Fingers crossed ay?
