Sweeney Todd
I bought this a few weeks ago at a cheap price, finally got around to watching it. OMG, why didn't they say on the cover it was a MUSICAL?! And I mean a musical too. More singing than talking! And the songs suck. Bad.
I actually read the story of Sweeney Todd years ago. He basically was a serial killer. I don't understand why instead of making a serious movie about it, they decided, no, let's make a musical with an orchestra playing! Absolutely stupid idea to me. And in many instances, you cannot understand the words they are singing, because they say the words really fast, or very drawn out. There were a few, and I mean Few!, parts that were mildly funny or amusing, but overall that was kinda like torture watching LOL. |

I didn't mind it, in fact, i liked the fact it was different.
And there are already drama's/films about the Sweeney Todd story. Just because it was different it was cool...it was no "My Fair Lady" by any means, but it was ok
