About time the page count is above 340! geez.

Anyway, this Novel sounds like it'll be AWESOME! Ed Greenwood and Elaine Cunningham... (Elaine rocks)

In the streets of Waterdeep, conspiracies run like water through the gutters, bubbling beneath the seeming calm of the city’s life. As a band of young, foppish lords discovers there is a dark side to the city they all love, a sinister mage and his son seek to create perverted creatures to further their twisted ends.

And across it all sprawls the great city itself: brawling, drinking, laughing, living life to the fullest.

Even in the face of death.

City of Splendors is set in the most important city of the Forgotten Realms setting: Waterdeep, city of intrigue and secrets. Its authors are considered to be among the most authoritative figures writing in the Forgotten Realms setting. This novel is their first collaboration.

Its out now! I ordered mine on Amazon with a good price break, and I'm reading the Emerald Scepter (The Scions of Arrabar Trilogy), and man, it's good!

I swear that anything that Elaine writes is good reading. Writing with E.G. will be something new for her, if I have my facts straight.

It will be an interesting read I am sure. However, I collect only the paper-backs, so I'll have to wait about a year to dive into this one.

The bit about Ed is a bit worrying though...

Yeah, I hope Elaine kicks Eds ass into submission, and he can only write the introduction... haha, or draw the map. LOL!

I hope they go into Undermountain.. You know its a huge place! Loads of tales there...

And I'm sure we'll meet Elaines charactors and maybe (I hope) Durnan, my bro, and Mirt!

I do like the potential of all those characters and Undermountain being brought into the plot...yes...

I can also see EG enjoying "submission"...for some strange reason...

lol! Probably! I'm sure all the buxom women in Waterdeep will be walking the streets nude if he has his way too!

He would LOVE Misty in the Yawning Portal, eh?

The more the merrier, eh? And I will be adding loads of tie-ins from this novel into my Neverwinter Nights Mod too! Can't wait!!

If you could tell us about writing style when you finish, that would be great. I need to know whether to pick this book up.
