I saw this two days ago. I liked it.

This movie surprised me a couple of time. I didn't expect the movie to be that good when I went in.

Hmm.. Are we talking about the same movie? Just to check, you said you "got in", and that made me think that you were going into the theatre to watch it, meaning some enw version...
I've watched it a few years ago, I find it a pretty good flick. It's about a siege of a police precint one night, all because one guy hiding...

The original film was made back in the 70's by John Carpenter and was ace! A really low budget, gritty, violent, tense thriller about a gang attacking a police station. Can't remember why, but the plot was never that important.

Is the remake any better than the original? Or just another sub-standard remake that trashes the legacy of the original?

I didn't see the original, but I liked this one.

It's happening in modern day, it's not science fiction, but it was really good.
