WHY Whatever happened to the badass puppets in the 1960's, why did they have to get replaced by a movie that features children. Ugh it's just like the new ghostbusters series. They got rid of badassity and replaced it by an "extreme" cast. Why do movie producers have to insist on multi-exthnic (nothing inherintley wrong with that, just kinda annoying when the original thunderbirds were all one race), multi-generational casts. I can understand multi-exthincity for a movie that actually uses it (The movie No Man's Land, as well as the movie "O") but use for it's own sake is stupid. Who's going to cast 2 White guys, 3 Chinese guys and a Mayan Tribesman to portray a Zulu tribe. I know it's a bad example, but you hopefully get the picture.

While we're on topic, movies like Malibu's most Wanted and White Chicks annoy me for this reason. Instead of having a token Black guy, now movies have a token every race. Why? Why not get rid of this politcal correctness spewed by hollywood. Look at films like No Man's Land, They all feature multi ethnicity, and notice it's not vain and stupid. Now look at 7 Samurai. See any white people? No, because there where no white people in 15th century Japan. Both these films are classics. Look at LOTR it's a true example of the perfect type of Multi-Ethnicity-they have their tensions, but they get together. Why can't we have that in movies instead of bloody National Security. Look at Harold & Kumar, The movie's hilarious and both actors add to the experience not take away from it. To conclude this horrible blob of text, political correctness for it's own sake is stupid, and singular ethnicity is good (though not in all cases)

Ruined the Thunderbirds for me seeing them use live-action...though I think I'll still be in the market for the box set of the originals...lol...I love British science fiction puppet shows from the sixties...

The cartoon was called Thunderbirds 2086, but still based on the original puppet series. </font>

I don't think the Thunderbirds could ever imitate the Power Rangers. I think it's the other way round really..
