It topped the weekend box office. I'm keeping as far away from this as possible, anyone with me?

I know that this is a flop. I am saving my money for RotK.

I know that this movie has to be 95% made up from scratch because the story itself is so short and no real sotry is there to even write on. I mean, they pulled it off with the Grinch, but there was more there to work with, and had become a favorite of all adults and kids every year with the little 30 minute cartoon that is played over and over. I love that poor little dog. Anyway, this guy is not even funny to me. He is a Jim Carrey wannabe, for all I care. I hear from the critics that this movie is only for children...parents would fall asleep long before the end.

I am with you.

I am thinking that the only reason that it is doing well is that there are very few new movies out now that parents can take there kids to.

My advice rent or buy a classic Disney movie.

From what I understand, I wouldn't take my kids to it either. It's too... adult-oriented for them at this point (6 and 4). Perhaps if they were pre-teens it might be okay.
