Just saw The Matrix:Reloaded - WARNING SPOILERS COMING

It is such a great movie but there are some things that i do not understand.

1.-Why is Morpheous so weak?He is often beaten by any Agent like in the first movie.

Get some spoiler tags on the topic please. I have the feeling that spoiling this film will result in bloodshed.


1) Two reasons. Morpheus is a regular human, well as regular as anyone inside the Matrix can be anyway, and so he cant match the Agents. Also, the Agents still under the control of the Matrix have been upgraded to help deal with Neo, and are faster than before.

2) That was a Matrix program the same as the agents, and the Oracle come to that. But if all Matrix programs were that visible to Neo, he wouldnt have had to ask. I think it was something to do with the code of that program. Hell, I dunno. It makes no sense.

3) The Matrix would be reset, Zion6 would be destroyed and Neo, or what remains of him, would pick 29 (?) members of the current Matrix population to be released and start Zion7. What would happen to the current population of the Matrix that were not released is difficult to say. If the matrix was reset and continued from the same point, they would probably never know the difference. If the Matrix started again from 1900 (or whenever) they would be terminated and used to feed a new generation. Presumably the machines have sufficient power stored to survive long enough for that.

4) Past the speed of sound certainly. Beyond that, I have no idea.

5) Doubt it. I think they were just blown far enough away to be out of the battle. Since they work for the weird french guy (and I think were shooting at the Matrix Agents?) I dont know if they would have any further intrest in Neo. Might do though, im not sure on what weird french guy's role in the grand scheme is.

6) Way more powerful. Nothing else in the film makes Neo break into a sweat, the Agent Smiths are the only thing that even gives him difficulty.

Yes but if he is more powerful than why he did not fight himself? Why did he called/copyed himself to fight Neo?

1 more thing. On the end of the movie when he saved Trinity or when he saved Morpheous and the Keymaker, You know his powers in The Matrix are limited only to his imagination and what he believs(i know kung fu)...why did he fly if he could just teleport there? He would also be able to save Trinity isn`t it right?

<font color = lightgreen>2) The Seraph is in the Matrix, but isn't really of the Matrix. He is either a holdover program or some sort of "meta-program" like the Oracle, a program that edits the Matrix to keep it running smoothly.

5) Yes, else they would have continued to attack Morpheus until they killed him.

6) Smith is much more powerful now because he is controlled by no one but himself. That is part of Smith's new power--the ability to assimilate others and convert them into copies of himself. Check the other thread here for more about Smith and how he relates to Neo.

Neo hasn't figured out how to teleport or transport himself between locations without using already-existing doors without keys. Maybe if he had several more years he could, but he has about 29 hours, or something like that.</font>

What about Tank? What happend to him? He did not die in the first movie. He was wounded but he didn`t die.

So where did he go?

When Link is talking to Zee (who is sister to Tank & Dozer), she mentions 'I lost two brothers to that ship' Thus, it is assumed that Tank died. The last time we saw him he had a hole in his stomach so maybe it got infected or something. Anyway, he's dead. Period.

In reality:
I believe the actor Marcus Chong made some rather over-the-top demands to appear in the sequels: higher pay, equal billing with Keanu, Carrie-Anne and Laurence, etc. and the decision was made to replace the Tank character. There are some "Save Tank" websites which have more detail, but I heard that "negotiations" between Warner Brothers and Chong got rather nasty.

He wanted to be equal to other players? Ok he is good player but not as good as Laurence Fishburne for example..at least IMO that is
