SW: A New Hope
SW: The Empire Strikes Back
LOTR: The Fellowship of the Ring

And I have to list one classic, that I always made a point to avoid until I was made to watch it for a college film history class:

It's a Wonderful Life

If you haven't seen it, see it. You may not appreciate it until you're a little older though. I saw it for the first time when I was about 20, after most of the angst of adolesence wore off.
