Okay, I need an advice!

I've got a couple of friends coming over tomorrow to watch some movies and just relax, it's not often that all of us has the chance to just hang out so we thought we would celebrate that by renting a few really god movies.
But too avoid wasting precious time in the video-rental store, I thought I would ask you guys for advice so I could just walk in there and know exactly what to get!
So, name three movies, that are available for renting in Sweden (which means not so very recent ones

) that are just GREAT!
Now me and my friends like pretty much the same genre of movies, which is that we like practically everything except mind-less action flicks

"Gladiator" rule, so does "Fellowship of the Ring". I also saw a great swedish movie here a couple of days ago, called "Livvaktene".

I also recommend the Highlander-series, they rule! [img]smile.gif[/img]

I've already seen Gladiator, but it was a long time ago and it's a good movie so it's definetly an alternative [img]smile.gif[/img]
Im actually pretty fed up with LOTR nowadays so I don't think I'll see it again

Highlander-series..hmm, which movie is the best?

They are pretty much just as good, except #4, which was a huge dissapointment to me. The third one is perhaps my favourite. [img]smile.gif[/img]

I also just thought of another great movie, "The 13th Warrior". YOu have probably seen it already, but it is a great movie, and can still entertain when seeing it for the second time. [img]smile.gif[/img]

One of the reason for me liking it, is because in one part of th emovie, they speak norwegian. [img]tongue.gif[/img]

FIGHT CLUB is a wonderful movie with a very involved plot, lots of social commentary, and a very mindf**ked ending. It will not only entertain, but will invoke lots of cool discussion.
