I picked it up just after you logged out, found it at the entrance to lvl 12. I still have it, remind me the next time you catch me in game, and I'll return it to you...

Not sure. I didn't equip it while I had it, so I didn't see the bug, however, maybe it's mad at you for leaving it at the entrance to lvl 12.
