Far be it from me to comment on whether anyone in in Undermountain is overcompensating.

But unless my eyes deceive me, I think that is a female holding the axe which takes us into completely new dimensions.

It does take us to strange new places........

I think the Drow Weaponsmith who made this axe is the one overcompensating

HAHAH! Yeh, I didn't make those, but They looked so freaking awesome--didn't notice the size problem until too late. They sized fine in beta, but don't know what happened.

In my new patch that is almost ready, I will be sizing them down--so they don't look like you'd break your back carrying them!

Just gotta shrink them.. heheh crazy!

oy!
I happen to like those axes. besides, I think that's a halfling weaponmaster using a greataxe. perhaps you could resize it but make it a completely new model, so those who like the older and more fearsome cleaver can still own one? it's just a randomized idea floating through my head. although, I wouldn't mind a one-handed version of that axe. I just like the blade it possesses.

on the topic of models, how hard is it to actually design one of those weapons using three-dimensional graphics? there was this idea for a greataxe/scythe I saw years ago, and have since seen them in fantasy novels using numerous variations. I was wondering, as I haven't seen anything like the design here in the Undermountain as of yet. the design used something along the lines of a pteradactyl head as the blade itself, with all bone and wood for the handle, shaped on an angle. one style (the axe) used a jaw setup much like a pteradon, while the other style (the scythe) had a head more like a rhamphasaurus or (more modern) like a long-snouted crocodile. I know, it is odd that the scythe had the serrated edge, but the handle was more of the "corrupted S" look than the traditional scythes did.

Yeah if the new patch shrinks it can I keep my old one as I really like it.

Also my Half Orc Weapon master doesn't like the new fancy pants samuari Dwarven armour... he will be keeping his old set.

However my RDD AC117 character loves it and looks very evvvviiiilllll.

Okay, so we could use two copies of the Dwarven Armour then, perhaps with different statistics for the resurrected traditional style? And where pray tell do I find this new fancypants Dwarven Armour in the samurai style? I have a Rogukani-based character I haven't used in a long while who could definitely use it if the armour is good enough. And if it isn't, I can always request revisions from the legendary Ziroc himself, right? *grins from work* Ah, the joys of internet and fixing computers with System Mechanic 6...

Note about the dwarven armor, it's actually a robe, so if you go into your crafting menu, you can alter the appearance by simply removing the current robe. I'll post a screen later, but I have already done so with one of my chars, and may do so with more, except maybe the Katana master, seems appropriate for him...

Edit:

I think I had too many screens, the before pic didn't save, but here's the after, just removing the robe, with no other alterations.
