Hello Ziroc Do you have any plans to let us download EFU
Before NWN 2 comes out? I know you have been working like
a mad man these past couple of months and we have all been
waiting a couple years for its release. Is there any kind
of time frame as to when you might finish? Or are you giong
to keep it as a server only mod for all to play.

With Oblivion comming out and the new construction set
comming with it I can only begin to wonder what you'll do
with it let alone what you'll do with the new MOD tools
for NWN 2.

I don't mean this post as any kind of a rush, just was
wondering what was in store! I read all your posts about
the new HAK pack and the pirates and all sounds cool.
Thanks TCB

No idea. Working to get the Hakpak done right now.. It should be done by mid summer, and this adds so much, I can't even go into it The new hak allows me to complete the story finally. The way it was meant to be.

Oh Nooo. The hak is coming out soon, the actual finishing of the mod (when I stop adding tons of levels and complete the actual story) will mid summer, and then I'll release it, but the online version will continue to be added too after that So fresh content!

I MAY bump to release of the Hakpak to Feb, but early Feb. (Found some issues with new heads. When you create a new player, they dont appear, but I can use them for NPCs)... I HATE bugs. I think I'm gonna get a lot done, and all I do some days is work on ONE issue/bug. oh man.. I hate that. But it's gonna be as bug free as possible. So no worries.

Remember the heads need to be added to our Override folder so we can use them at character creation.

New heads working on NPCs, hrmm...

Does that mean... new henchmen?
*hopes, dreams*

Yes, I am still foaming at the mouth for a few more assistants in my mad quest to collect a hocking ton of stuff. Yes, I am actually going to be spending cash soon on upgrading my machine, but I don't know if it is better to go higher on the RAM or go higher on the graphics card in order to make the module run faster and smoother. I surmise it will depend solely on what my next paycheque will look like. *shrugs a bit*

Oh, there may be some new players dropping in soon. I have to get in contact with some friends of mine inside of Montréal to make sure their computers can run NWN. If they can, I'll probably get them a copy of the game. Come to think of it, I should ask my good friends in Sarnia about that as well, but they don't really have much time for gaming as it is. (that and I just gave them about ten games I was no longer playing.)

WOW after all the work you really see a completion
of the Expanison. I no longer consider EFU as a MOD
because it is in size alone more of an expansion
than just a MOD.
A MOD is one mission or quest but you have turned
each level into a mission with the quest being the
bottom or lowest level just kind of reversed from
the original story. For those that don't know, EFU
is from a Forgotten Realms Novel. A Story written by
Mark Anthony as book three from the 5 book Nobles
collection except for the 5 characters everything
is there and more.
To bad we can't get a Living Stone Gargoyle as
a PC and the Skull too. It seems that most
everybody has met Muragh at the Inn as the loud
mouth Skull. It would really be great fun to get
4 people to join you at just the right times in
undermountain well as a skull, a Gargoyle, a mage and
a wacked out Noble and then to live out the story!
Well, maybe a single player game with the other 4
as NPC's or Henchmen would really do the trick.

YAY!
New Henchmen!!
*bearhugs his hero Ziroc!!!*

now, if I could figure out how to play my mp3s without distorting the actual in game sounds, I would be set. of course, I could just get an mp3 playing CD and then acquire another set of speakers (which I would not be surprised to have in here somewhere), but that would be costly. Hrmm... there is a solution around here, I know it.

Question for you, Ziroc. With those new heads, are there ways to make archon-like characters? I know I can access the lioness head while using the half-orc race, but I was wondering about other animal heads (jackal if one was made already, tiger, wolf). In the game itself, there are two helms which change your head to animal heads (dragon and bear), so it would be possible to try out different concepts for races without having to actually add them. (as what the PRC apparently does.)

Oh, an idea that should have been posted by someone else ages ago: CHOC as a henchman! You know you wanna... *grins wickedly* I remember when you posted that model of Choc and it was freakin' huge in comparison to the human model it was beside. If you actually had a model around 75% that size, Choc would make the perfect ally to work with!

*plots out stats now*

Race: Cat, Magical Outsider
Age: refuses to tell "puny humans"
Strength: 14
Dexterity: 25
Intelligence: 15
Wisdom: 10 (curiosity doesn't lend itself well to wisdom)
Charisma: 18 (because EVERYONE loves The Chocster)
Constitution: 16

maybe using a halfling as a template or even an elf. I figure the halfling to ensure nobody would try to load up Choc with two longswords (or two bastard swords for that matter). thing is, is it possible to create an NPC henchman who can use only specific weapons? (was thinking that Claw of Choc's which I've never seen before or maybe two Claws Of Malar.) just one of those random thoughts that takes form in my head.
