I always wanted the water well to be awesome looking! I mean, its the enterance to Undermountain, and should look spooky, and dangerous. I drew up a really sloppy rough draft one night, and now that I know how to model tile pieces, I am now making it a reality. Here are some screenshots and the rough draft....

Be warned, what you are looking at is EARLY development, and I am using placeholder textures just for the hell of it. I simply need to rough out the tile and hole, then I add detail, like ferns, moss and plantlife sticking out of the hole sides. You will also be able to look down the pit, and see the first level of Undermountain! (a texture trick) and it should make for a cool effect, like you're looking into undermountain deep under the tavern!

And here is the final finished tile:

The player looks like she/he is 'hovering' but thats normal. I have yet to set the walkmesh heights.

So what do ya think? I should be done with this in 3 days, and it too will be a part of the new hakpak coming shortly! This is one of those 'major' parts I thought would take me a long time to do, but man, its easier than I thought, so I may make more

"Awesome" seems to be an understatement!

If that's just the entrance to Undermountain, then I will need seatbelts on my computer chair to keep from being totally blown away.

Once again you've outdone yourself Ziroc!

Folks that is some amazing work, I really liked the way you scaled it out, that is going to look great, when folks come into the tavern, it's menasing looking. You know i have been working on a storyboard layout on a Meztica concept in just the same way, but I dont know didly about scripts or modeling........But I guess it has to do with time. Well I can’t wait to see all the other custom content coming our way, am sure my own kids who I brought into this pw mod will enjoy them too. Keep up the good work......peace
