I am hard pressed to find anything that does not cost millions of dollars for my poor level seven cleric. I actually had another character give me 10,000gp to buy a better mace, but I still cannot afford one that I can wield.

Durnan needs more "beginner" items.

Please help us low-income clerics of the world Ziroc!

I agree there is alot of stuff out there for the fighter types but little for the magic users that doesn't cost the world.

However Larry did you get the 100,000 that durnan is supposed to give you when you leveled up? That should at least be able to give you some decent armour and weapon.

No because I made my char before Ziroc did that, and Durnan has not offered to give me any money even after Ziroc set that into the script. I need the blessings of Ol' Halaster on me side. I am certainly cute enough to attract his gaze...why don't he give me a bit o' cash flow?

Guess you just have to catch him on there. He gave me 100K. Just need to be there at the right time. Or run to the secret area on level 2 and you can get 200K

I created my character before the 100K handout too and I had a difficult time getting funds. A problem is that all the good kit goes and doesn't reappear until the server resets. I ended up pocketing every bit of dross lying around, even skeleton knuckles and bones. Never has level one been so clean of "remains"!

I'd be happy to give you and other unfortunates 100K if I'm around - within reason, I'm saving up for good kit too! My character is called Valdo.

Thanks all! I was actually lucky enough to be led into level four on piggy-back last night to reap the rewards for other's efforts. My poor little girl pocketed so much that she could not hardly walk but then sold most of her findings and is now doing well enough to manage. Still, the items are for high level chars, and I need lighter equipment for little girlie clerics.

Coin isn't all that hard to come by, I find. But then I'm used to picking up what I kill anyway (it helps the lag a lot to have no remains bags left lying).
