Contact atari's technical support, and pray you get lucky. It could be someone else using your key by some means or other, or it could be a glitch somewhere.

I doubt someone else is using it, if so the message would be sommat like 'cd-key in use'. The problem is more likely with your cd being verified for use by the server.
This is the same message someone would get if they use a pirate cd-key.

Only efu is it? I'd call atari like suggested - you'd be surprised at what they can do over the phone (and even by the fact that they actually do pick upo the phone!)

G-FalconDance,

I'm sure it's your computer. Have you had it checked lately?

SpiritWarrior, this is the only time I've tried to play online. We have three pcs networked at home and mp with no trouble. No conflicts between the three, no annoying "no! you can't do that!" error messages (three copies of each game---expensive but so much fun!)

This weekend I'll reinstall and see if that fixes it. Barring that, I'll call Atari (the hold time last time was horrid).

hope it works out.
but don't fret about the hold... it's way better than getting things done by email.

that method can take up to 2 weeks.

All the 3 PC's can't get in or just the one? Also try open your NWN's cd-key readme file in the NWN's directory and check the keys in there against those on your manuals/papers for any errors. If you entered a wrong digit this may be the cause.
