HAY Ziroc!! I like the new area and secret passage to level 1 cool. I more or less found it by mystake and fell through trying to kill a Dwarf stuck behind a rock. Ha! Ha! what A rush to find myself on level one.
Question on level one there is this cave entrance with bars and it says something about eyes stareing out at me. Is this a riddle or, something for the future?

Yeah, you guys got it.
I always planned to connect that tunneling area, but wanted it to be later on.. I tried to hide it with the tree and rock... MANY people totally walked right by it too |

BTW. Anyone playing this mod MUST go and buy the FR Book by the same name "Escape from Undermountain". It will give you a BIG advantage in the game--and coming levels as well as people from the Novel are IN the tavern and in Undermountain. ![]() It's one of my favorite reads guys.. Mark Anthony wrote it, and he is an EXCELLENT author. |

I still would like a clue as to, what is behind the Bars with the Glowing EYES?

The boxed set MAPS are not exact--if you own the boxed set, you KNOW how freaking HUGE they are. But A lot of the 'areas' are real. And some trap areas too.
Always remember: EVERYTHING usually has a reason for being in Undermountain. You may not figure out something you saw on level 2 until level 8. But most things have a reason for existing. I try to go into great detail. I have planted stuff where, unless you are searching every square inch of the level, you would miss. And THOSE items are unique. Another thing to look for soon: Each level will have a special bonus quest. You just gotta figure out what this quest IS! ![]() |

You say that each level will soon have a special bonus quest. Does the Mushroom quest, kitchen cook & Lvl #1 and the drow princess ring quest, Lvls #1 & #2 count as the first two or were those just your first try at adding quests?
The book Escape from Undermountain is out of print and can't be ordered and I was un able to find it on E-Bay but I am still looking! [ 09-16-2003, 10:37 PM: Message edited by: TheCrimsomBlade ]
