How do you defeat the maker in HoU?

I have a ranger/druid/monk, and have died twice now trying to defeat the maker. I can't seem to hit the guy, and when I do, it's for 1-3 points of damage. Do I need to go invis and let his buffs wear off, or do I need to hack through his defenses?

hak away, he has awesome damage reduction and high ac.

if you have creeping doom then use that, or better yet try heal..until it works (and then hak away).

Thing is I have beaten him before, but don't remember how I did it. Been a while since I have played the OC. Thanks for the help.

Ok, I have survived all of his spells, and have been chopping away for 20 minutes with no damage to him. He still has premonition swirling about him...but good grief...how long can it last!?!
