I just started Hotu and got deekin. When I need deekin to pick locks, he says " umm..yeah okay " but he SHOOTS at the lock door/chest instead. Is this normal?
I didn't hire deekin in Sou so I dont know. |

Yep he'll try bash it since he can't pick locks.

Strange, I assume that Bards can pick lock because in OC Sharwyn can. In that case I better dump Deekin for someone else that can then.

dont worry kakero, bashing or picking lock is the same. the same items will still be there.

In HotU you can have two henchmen, so you can keep him.
Also, if you have any form of elemental damage, you will be able to bash any pickable lock anyway, so it dosent matter.
