Won’t they look the same as the men, but with slightly less bushy beards!!

No, all the fashionable ones have pink ribbons in their beards.

Maybe you should check other games' portait sites. Like Baldur's gate and Icewind Dale, or even the ingame portraits. It's not hard to make NWN compatible portraits out of them (only for your own use I suspect not for on the vault I think for copyright issues). IIRC there's a tutorial on the official NWN site or on the NWVault on how to make custom portraits

I have ONE female dwarf portrait. Yep, just one. Out of all of the great artwork available, I have only been able to find one decent dwarven female portrait; and that one is a customized version of an IWD portrait.
Tyrion, if you find any others drop me a pm or let the rest of IW know where you find them.

Let me send you the one I have and if you don't like it no problem. Check your email.
Edit: mail delivery failed - *sigh* - I'll try from the office tomorrow. [ 07-07-2004, 08:13 PM: Message edited by: Micah Foehammer ]

when i made char portraits for my monkette, i got very confused about the sizes and number of portraits needed. it seemed like i just couldn't get them right. so i did a bunch of research and discovered the game has a built in command to size and place all the portraits needed to play the game.
if you have a pic you want to use, then here's the simplest way to use it! *EZ Portraits for NWN* ~place the picture you want to use, in jpeg format (ElfMonkey.jpg) into your "portraits" folder where you installed NWN and remember it's name! ~don't worry about the size, either. note: if you don't have a "portraits" folder, make one. it should look kinda like this: C:\NeverwinterNights\NWN\portraits ~start NWN and either start a new game or load a saved one ~start the console by pressing the ~ key also known as "tilde", in the upper left hand corner of your keyboard, usually to the left of your numeric 1 key ~remember the name of your portrait? good. now type this command with your portrait's name after the tilde (no space between the tilde and your command): Convertportrait ElfMonkey press enter ~please don't get upset if your tilde disappears at any time while you are doing all this. just hit it again when you're ready to enter a command. ~please don't add the extension when you type in the name of your portrait, okay? ~if the console is still up, just press the ~ again to close it, or wait a few seconds. it will usually go away on it's own. you're all set now! this will automatically create all the different sized picture files needed to make your character complete. well...i vas kind of thinking of a beardless dwarf. dont mean to be descriminating or anything, but it looks too weird. i just need a portrait of a rough short woman...thus a dwarf. when i cant find such a portrait i will just do a male dwarf instead. there are plenty of those around!
