can anyone tell me the download size for patching from 1.32 to 1.62?

Pretty big, but the autoupdaters downloads are always smaller than the critical updates available for manual download, so I can't say exactly what it will be.
If you do use the manual download, 68.6 Mb. The easiest way to get this update is to get HotU - it takes you straight to 1.59, and the update from there to 1.62 is fairly small.
