creator race ruins riddle help

was wondering if it is possible to mess up the color pools, as in, do it in wrong order to where you have to start over at an earlier saved game.....I know how to do the riddle of sound. Its just "WHERE DO I GET THE POWDER FOR RIDDLE OF SMOKE, and back to prior question, is it possible to mess it up to where I have to start over, because I cant figure it out I HAT STUPID RIDDLE, I just want to fight

Riddle of Sound - use that fairy, she will ring the gongs in order. Ring them in the same order. The door will open.

Riddle of Light - This one is pretty self explantory, read the note, but I can't remember the specifics right now.

Riddle of Smoke - You need to make three coloured smokes in order. You do this by adding the powders in the right combination. Simple colour mixing you learned in kindergarten. The order is given by clicking on the brazier, although IIRC its also given more explictily on the easel.
