I've been trying to build my character so that he will become an Arcane Archer once I get SoU. He is now a 2nd level fighter with Point Blank Shot and Weapon Focus: Longbow. I tried to get longbow weapon specialization, but instead of that on the feat selection list was another Weapon Focus button! What is wrong?
Edit: Whoops, got a little mixed up from playing Baldur's Gate.... [ 06-26-2003, 02:58 PM: Message edited by: Willard ]

Weapon Specialization requires a BASE BAB of +4. It isn't available until 4th level for a fighter.
BTW, since fighters already begin with weapon proficiency:martial which includes longbow, I assumed you meant that you took Weapon Focus: longbow. That's one of the base requirements for Arcane Archer. [ 06-24-2003, 08:44 PM: Message edited by: Micah Foehammer ]
