Give me a little information here about the game. I've heard from lots of people that the game is awesome, and from one that some people think it's dissapointing. I'll buy it anyway, but I could use a few opinions.

In short, I'd say if you realy liked Morrowind and Wiz8 you may be disappointed with NWN. If you prefered Wizards and Warriors this will likely be a good game for you. |

I love the game (finished it yesterday, see my spoiler thread.) It's not quite as personal as BGII and PS:T, but then, what is? I will repeat my main criticism, that it is too short. But, there are the add-in modules.

I was loving it with a tnt2 ultra card with all the nice affects turned off and still a little chop, yesterday I installed and MSI GeForce4 Ti4400 souped up all the graphics options to the max and boy howdy this game looks so good... its smoothe as silk and slick as snot on a doorknob...needless to say I had to start the game over with a new char so I could "SEE" the whole game.. and it really is gorgeous...
FYI this card is huge do not buy it if you do not have a full( lg mid ) sized tower with nothing near the agp slot i.e hard drive overhanging the mobo. MSI GeForce4 Ti4400

I'm a little bit disapointed because this game does not sounds FRP like BG, it sounds powerplay etc like Diablo. 3rd edition is boring. I miss 2nd edition and Baldurs Gate, party interaction. It's weird than even half-orcs can be paladin! You can take 4 class.

I am disappointed with the game, but only insofar as there have been a lot of bugs. Since I come from playing PnP though, I think it has translated very well. Overall I am rather pleased with how it is turning out. They seem to have done a good job with Research on skills, plots, etc. I am also a part time programmer, so I look forward to working with the scripts. Reminds me somewhat of a combination of Visual Basic/C++/Java all in one. Great graphics (although the "camera" is a little awkward/cumbersome). Great sound (it has freaked out my cat several times - LOL). I have enjoyed multi-play for the most part (except when power gamers come online and try to hog up the experience so they can level up more.) Overall, a good game. I don't believe that it is Diablo like. I thought Diablo was all about leveling up. I am more of a story game type person and there is a lot of story going on. Not as good as Planescape: Torment, but kinda up there.

Well I haven't really played it yet, but I was hearing good things about it. The requirements though, i'm not sure how well the game will run on the cpu. I don't really care about graphics and all that. I'm still playing Chrono Trigger for goodness sakes. I'll buy it as soon as I can scrape up the cash.
