Guess what? I spent 50 bucks on Neverwinter Nights, and it doesn't even work on my computer! It is not compatible with my Video Card, (the Video Card is called 'Unknown') and when I play it the graphics suck, the loading time is about 10 minutes, you can see the 'squares' in the pictures, everything is jerky, and it freezes up all the time! What the heck is going on here?

Willard, bunches of us ran into the same problem and had to buy another video card. I know, it sucks, especially considering the higher price of NWNs, but that is how it is unfortunately. I have spent basically $160.00 to play this game LOL. Oh well, I'm totally addicted to the game and having a blast, plus needed a new video card anyway as the one I had loved to lock up every game I played randomly.

You are not alone in other words, I feel for you, been there.

dude no offence but get with the times. if you have been reading up on this forum section you will have seen many many many many posts on people who found out their ancient voodoo3's and what not are not compatible to a huge 3D rendering world that is required of higher or some what nicer cards. a gf2 32meg card can run the game just fine if you dont got at least that already then you havent bought a Gc in at least 3 years.

Try updating the drivers for your card, assuming you know what it is. Most of "Unknown" problems are do to incorrect drivers

Of course, NWN is only the first of many games that will be coming down the chute in the next year or two that will require the best of the best hardware. Technology is speeding up, not lingering in the darkness, and will continue to grow. When I saw what Dungeon Siege was requiring, I knew that NWN would be bigger. When my friend went out and updated his PC to play Star Wars, Jedi Knight 2, I knew what I had to do. I went out and got a GeForce III. But my Pentium is way too slow, so I will be picking up another M-board and processor this week. This is not for NWN, but for the games that will be coming out in the next two years. Techology, if you don't keep up, it will leave you where you find yourself now.

It sounds like you have really old hardware. Don't get mad at the game! It doesn't deserve this.

Unless you have a relatively new video card that it doesn't recognize, then your ranting is perfectly acceptable.
