Please, I need help on the crypt!(AND PLEASE REMEMBER I AM A NEWB!)

I am stuck on the crypt when i "Fell Through" the collapsed stairecase got the Bauble Stick And the Crystal key i read on this site there was an "Elavater" and you use the key to work it i just got i few questions:

1.How do i get the elavator?
2.Does the Crystal Key have to be identifyed to use it?
3.how do i leave the crypt after falling through the collapsed stair case?

AND PLEASE REMEMBER I ONLY HAD THIS GAME FOR ABOUT 3 DAYS SO I AM A NEWB!!!

Between the broken stairs and the area where you got the crystal key there was a very large room. If you examine the one wall which has no exit, especially examine the left side of this area, you will find a depression in the wall that matches the crystal key. USE the crystal on the depression and the elevator will open!

Ditto what Wyvern said. Unlike some places you may have been, around these parts we respect that new players come along who don't know all the answers. That gives us old-timers (have I been around long enough to be an old-timer?) the opportunity to match wits and see who can come up with the most creative answer to your questions.

A note about the elevator: It happened to me repeatedly that
1. the elevator did not reach the room with F'lokis Ra.
2. later on, the elevator did not reach the room above F'lokis Ra.
In both cases, you are stuck. The first problem can be solved sometimes: you can reach the button that sends the elevator back down by jumping. But only sometimes. Otherwise, you have to reload.
Therefore, SAVE THE GAME before using the elevator!
