Hi D*one,

Just one chest.

The first time I played thru, I tried to do the platforms and fell off 3 or 4 times and used up 5 or 6 cure poisons. Then, later in the game, I found out the chest sits next to a one way door.

So, if you do it early on you have to cross the water twice.

As mentioned, you can reach that chest through a one way door that is off of the trapped room where you pick up the key needed to visit the Lich. I personally never bothered with the platforms and swinging axes. We just dove in and swam for the exit as fast as possible.

I'm with Wyvern. All you are is a little poisoned or diseased if you try to swim it, as opposed to mincemeat if you play with the axes. And by that time, you should have all the cure spells you really need.

And all that for a stinking little chest...

As someone briefly pointed out, you can get to the chest without hazarding the axe traps. There are 4 waterways down there in that water. One of them exits over by the chest.

Just venture through all 4 waterways and you will exit through a one-way wall right next to the chest. Then you can drop down to the water again and take the fastest route out.
