It appears (very) randomly through the game. Most people get it west of Brimlooch. However, Sazerac was lucky enough to find one in the Crypt.

I'm playing with the Sword of Argus right now for the first time. Don't know how I prefer it just yet.

Aside from that, I prefer Nightblades and Wizard's Blades. Enchant or bless 'em both up, and have some fun. Add a Main Gauche +2 to the other hand (enchanted or blessed, of course), and mega damage is in the future.

Only thing to remember: most of the other hand weapons seem to be daggers, so you might want to boost that skill as well.

i had (long story check the post "ALL THAT HARD WORK GONE" for more info.. the sword of kerah and 2nd weapon skill (much better than using a shield) and a main gauche +2 and blessed w/ 14 damage so i do about 100+ damage.. also i recall a fiend spell called frenzy that increases amount of double damage i dunno if that increases attack points never tried it. i also used sword of argus both are fine weapons.

Think the best weapons are the Sword of Argus and Wizard's Blade, fully damage blessed. You also might try the Murakata No-Dachi fully blessed, not sure if that's more powerful than either of the other 2, might wanna try it.
