the crypt please help

hi guys i hope you can help me out. i go into the crypt see the statue see the rat guy give him pie go down the stairs where they break see the mummy kill the mummy take the elevator up. is this the secret chamber? if not where is it. i can't get back to the statue because of the broken stairs. i have found the brown room where i can see the stairs but i cant get to them. i have the locket from the dead mummy. i am verry very stuck. also what do i do with that urn of gold, can't seem to do anything with it. what am i missing? also i think i read where there is another item that should be under the table in the mummys room it is not there. thanks in advance.

you have to either agility jump of the stairs over the hole or......

take the UNBROKEN barrels (at least 3) and stack them up and use the jump method

If you've taken the lift up to the little room and killed the mummy, make sure you take the locket it drops and read the inscription (right mouse click on it in your inventory). The Urn of Old seems to be for appearance only. There are many items in this game that you can click on, but not pick up (pile of bones, pile of sand, etc.). The secret room is actually on the next level up. You get to it by riding on TOP of the elevator. The trick is to run up to the elevator button and press it, then quickly back up so that you do not ride down on it. Instead, wait until it starts coming back up, then jump on top. When it stops, you are able to hop off the top and enter the little secret room. The item that you mention only appears if one or more of your characters have the appropriate guild quest. There are some things on top of the table, and a chest to loot. Then exit the room down a longish path and a one-way door will appear allowing you to access the room with the statue of Kerah. To get the barred door to open, you must Talk to the statue and type in the words on the locket, exactly as they are (the case of the letters is important).

You should be able to find a walkthough of the crypt on the CDs - you can access it via the Activision group in Programs when you press the Start button. I found it invaluable, since I (and others) think the crypt is the hardest dungeon in the game, so please keep plugging away, because this is a wonderful game.

hi guys thanks again for the invaluable help for my crypt question, i actually was on the right track about jumping the stairs but i didn't think of using a barrell to help. right now i'm working the fire pit in the warriors path. if i need help guess where i'm coming. again thanks for all the speedy help you guys gave me.
