I'm trying to start a new game with a new, better party.

I spent about 1 1/2 hours creating a pretty good party, only to find that the game wouldn't let me out of the inn. The character screen shows them "out on an adventure", even though I just added them to my new party. When I "reverted" my game, all my new characters were deleted!

What the heck is this crazy save/character creation system doing? This is a pretty wacky way of doing things.

I want to start a new game with a new party. Does this mean I have to delete all my original characters? Please advise!

Thanks for your help!

Regards,
Michael

You need to "Reset Adventures", and then create your party.

If you have existing characters, they'll be back in the Inn as well. You can create new ones, and delete the old ones, to make a "new" party. Your old party will still exist as long as you have a saved game with them in it.

How do I "reset adventures"? I don't think I saw this option anywhere?!

Any help is appreciated.

leave the inn and click on the computer icon next to the save button. It gives you difeferent options than the ones you get inside the inn, reset adventure among them!

I found the "Reset Adventures" button right after I logged off!

That is a bit of a screwy way of doing things, but I guess I can live with it (don't really have a choice!).

I'm going to start now with a much better party, and a lot more gold (using the "gold cheat")!!

Thanks to all for your help.

Regards,
Michael
