Scabban....?

I'm sure this question has been posted before but a search didn't turn up much to help me. I've done everything I was supposed to at the crypt, killed that Flokis mummy and went upstairs.... no ring under the table. So I thought, ok, maybe I need to go back to the guild. I went back and the guy told me about Scabban and to find him. Went back to the crypt and went the same route as before - still no Scabban and no ring. Did I miss something important? How do I open the grate in the angel room - if at all?

Oh and BTW during my excursion I found a horse guarding a treasure chest in the middle of the woods on my search for the toad village. How odd LOL I rode the horse all the way back to the village and then it just disappeared LOL What's up with THAT???

Did you pick up the amulet from F'Lokis Ra? Read it and then say the words to the statue. The ring shows up later when you accept a Temple quest.

Yeah I got the amulet, wasn't sure what to do with it though LOL Thanks, I'll hike back there and try it. Gotta hate that back and forth in the crypt - those skeletons are getting too easy and boring to kill LOL

Hi Talos -

Did you remember to get off the horse before you entered the town?? That's the only think I can think of that might have caused the horse to disappear.

Did you get the quest to get the "Ring of Saints" from the Temple Guild? It's the 3rd guild quest. The ring should show up after you get the quest, not before.

If it messed up, don't worry...that one isn't a "promotion" quest. You get nothing but XP from it.
