How do you give Mekdawa the toad potion? I discovered you have to have it equipped before it shows up in the use/give icon but then he still won't take it. He never stands still--is that the problem?

I don't remember having to have it equipped, but for the person with the quest.
When you get close to Mekdawa, have the potion ready in your Use/Give icon with the word "give" highlighted.
Get close, click on Mekdawa & let him talk "Mekdawa need this, Toads need this...blah blah, blah...goodbye Ukabu!" & follow him until he is done speaking to be sure they will know at the guild that you completed the quest.

You do have to choose GIVE and not use - it might seems like they both would work the same, but they don't. Chasing this toad around is one of the problems, try to corner him against some trees or something. If you can stop him long enough and have your give window already to go, just clicking on him should give him the potion!

Thanks I finally did give him the potion but it was really weird how it worked. I could not access the potion while it was in the inventory. First I had to equip it and then when I said give, it was no longer available under use/give yet I still had it. Then I placed the potion back in the invenotry and only then was I able to give it to him. Pretty complicated process here. Chasing him down was NOT fun.

Congrats! You have officially joined the ranks of Mekdawa The Toad Quest haters everywhere!
Chasing him down is NEVER fun!
Be ready to do it again with those you promote to Paladin, etc. who can join the priest's guild & want to do quests in Valeia!

I know what you guys mean about your frustration with Mekdawa....
I almost tempted to kill/blast him a few times....

Moni -

Board Tip: Next to your name on the right hand side of the screen you will see a small icon which looks like paper and pen. If you click on that for a post you recently (!) made and wish to modify (like a typo (I have a typo license, do you??)) you will be able to reopen the message and make the correction!
