Nope...the storekeepers are sound-mute, but talk-heavy. And that crazy funky chicken dance they do!!!

Hailitho: all NPC's outside of the towns have speaking voices. I don't know why they left them off the questgivers in the towns. Of course, with Sabastio's speech, we should all be glad! (You'll understand that when you get to Brimloch Roon).

Welcome to the ranks hailitho!

Don't worry. You will get a chance to kill him later.

I didn't care much for the shopkeepers either at first. They all do the same dance. I am just glad that the priests didn't move their hips. I thought about settling down from the adventures and opening a shop, but I don't think I could manage the dance all the time. Especially if I had to dance for other adventurers. And I would stay as far away from Sabastio as I could. I think he did wiggle his hips. I would rather manage a crypt with Rethpien than set up shop in Brimloch Roon. Of course I would much rather die in an adventure.

But at the snake temple, I think that if I had a couple of shopkeepers with me and a Bard to play music, I could have charmed the Naga for a bit before whaling on it. They do a decent snake charming dance. And if the Naga can't be charmed by them, no one would miss a shopkeeper or two.

Speaking of stores, will Charlie do the Shopkeeper Shuffle when he opens his store here?

Knarfling: Charlie is leaving the boards for personal reasons happening in his own life. You can read about it over in the General Discussions forum.

It's a pity. I had really come to like him.
