I goofed big time. I was installing my game, and after completing the first disc, it said insert disc 2. I then accidentally hit the power button and shut my computer off. Now when I insert the disc it gives me an un-install option but when I try that it can't find the uninstall log. What can I do?

First of all, you're NOT STUPID. Accidents happen.
Second: Try to uninstall the game through "Add/remove Programs" through Control Panel...see if it has a record for the game in the list box. If that doesn't work: Third: Try deleting the Activision folder from your C: drive. Then empty the recycle bin. (Make sure you back up your savegames to another disk, if you want to save them.) Fourth: If ALL ELSE FAILS: you can try going into your Registry and deleting out every key that points to WizardsWarriors or Activision. BEWARE!!! I do not recommend this for beginners. Editing the Registry can be VERY dangerous for your computer. Make sure you back up a copy of it before you edit it. In fact, if the first three don't work, Mark, e-mail me at sazerac1963@yahoo.com and I may be able to walk you through a Regedit session. But I STRONGLY suggest you try the first three suggestions before resorting to a Registry edit. Best of luck to you! Hope it works out. -Sazerac |

I did it! First I deleted all the files except for my save game file. It still wouldn't install so I moved my save game file to the recycling bin but didn't delete it. I could then install the game and then restore my save game file. Thank you sooo much Sazerac!! Cet must really fear me to put me through this. Thanks again!

Cool Saz! I was so worried about this guy, but afraid to tell him to start deleting. I am so glad you were able to help him out. Welcome Mike!
