Ace'Latec - How to Kill

Been working in Ulgoth's Beard area and have been trying to kill the demon and clansmen in the hut, with NO success. Had to fight my way into the village first and had little problem with the demonknight in Durlag's tower, as well. This Aec'Latec is a whole another story. HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!????????????????

Most things are on the board somewhere, so have a search for them. However, as it stands, have a look at THIS recent post for some help on the wretched creature.

Well I guess that will do...you have to kill all of the acolytes before you kill the demon...if you do not he will take over the body of one of the survivors when he dies...if you kill all of the acolytes first then the demon you should be good...I suggest a hasted mage with a wand of fire running around killing two or three acolytes at a time.

need plenty of protection vs his gaze attacks and dispels if you do get hit by it, thats the only thing to fear vs him and thats the thing got me over n over, but once i got past it i didnt even bother killing the acolytes i just let him take them over and hacked him up some more [img]tongue.gif[/img] ( blame it on a berserk rage of my main char or someat [img]tongue.gif[/img] ) dont try the original tactics that i did (see previous threads) or things go horribly wrong [img]tongue.gif[/img]

If you do not have enough, or any for that matter, gaze protection spells, potions etc...One of your archers can carry arrows of dispelling which will dispell good and bad spells or curses that are placed upon you.

but dont get carried away and start shooting your own people too much, yes i know its plenty of fun but it probably hurts their feelings and isnt very nice
