I've run into the old stout mine problem, I go in and give the guy the writ, he say's i'm letting you out now, then says wait while I open the shaft, and I get another writ and can't get back in to get my dragon armor. I can't remember all the potential solutions. Any body have an idea.
My char is a 17th level Wiska zenmaster, making his third trip through the game this time alone. |

Your question confuses me, sorry. You give him the writ and he opens the shaft and you "get another writ"? One is all you need to come and go in the mine. As long as you have one, you should be ok - so I don't understand what you are asking. Perhaps I should have waited for Wyvern to answer this one. I'm sorry I can't be more helpfu. Maybe if you would explain more, I could. If not check back later and we'll ask Wyv. I just didn't want you to think no one was listening to your plea for help.

As soon as you give the guard the Writ step back two paces and let him finish speaking.
If you have two writs and can exit the mines, enter another area (such as the Castle), drop all the writs except one, go back to the Stout Mines and retry the entry. ------------------ Rick Beginner's Help, Hints & Walk-Throughs at The WWHAP |
