what comes first?

This is probably a complete silly question but I am really not sure about it. I am playing BG1 (currently chapter 5) with the TOTSC expansion set. Do I have to finish TOTSC before beginning the last regular chapter of BG or can I still do the TOTSC quests after having finished the regular game?
If both ways are possible, which order do you recommend?

once you kill sarevok thats it game over but it creates a final save of your chars and then you can choose to start at ulgoths beard and do the quests, but its best to do everything in game before taking sarevok on. But thats right at end of chapter 7, so do whatever you want in baldurs gate in any order you want at any order with the quests in totsc, treat them as normal quests, durlags for example you can do at chapter 1 or chapter 7, its up to you (do it at chapter 1 at your peril [img]tongue.gif[/img] ) just bear in mind if you get into the final fight with sarevok then when you beat him thats the game won, so do everything first before entering the thieves maze.

personally on my last game i did the ice island quest followed by the durlags tower and then the wws quest, but i think the ideal order is ice island, werewolves then durlags, but whilst doing all those 3 i went to baldurs gate too and did some of the quests there.
