Good Luck! You should still visit every once in awhile because you may be able to help someone else. I am playing BGII now has well but after I get through it for the second time I may come back to play BG or IWD.

If I am correct oh slanderous one...lol...any benefit that is level related does not transfer but does indeed revert to the 160,000xp level. However things that are not based on level...for example ability scores increased by tomes...do in fact stick with you.

If you used an EXP cap remover to exceed the cap, your EXP and all level-based abilities will be reset back to the cap.

I had a strange bug with my version of BG2....When I transferred my character, the game wanted me to re-roll all his stats. (Ouch! had to cheat 'em back to where they were via Shadowkeeper.) Later on I found out that all BG1 characters rolled AFTER I installed BG2 would have their stats intact upon transfer.

thats interesting, means the games are crosslinked somehow

slanderous me? bah baggins your showing your sackville roots and i know ability scores raised by tomes is fine but what about ability scores (5 in large sword) that are only acheivable by removing exp cap to hit level 9 looks like you lose them too? oh well not to worry
