ok , i have 2 warriors, 2 wizards, a monk and a rogue in my group. I join ed the relevant guilds with 1 char in the town ( 3 guilds ) when i could afford it, now that i have a few squid i joined the wizard and warrior guilds with second chars, i then selected the quests the warrior quest proceeded to the next quest even how can i complete it , though i had not done the 1 quest ( this is as it should be , as u can not kill the same person twice ), now the wizard has given me the first quest for the second char even though this is complete , how so? how can i complete it ,, scabban is gone??? and he will not proceed to next quest !!
Also do u need to take the oath?? And is there a use to the Urn of Old, or the Rat skull. Are these relevant to later quests? |

There are a number of quests which really can only be "done once". Generally if another character also has had this quest when they return to the appropriate guild they will get the speech: "Some one else has completed this quest but I will award your character blah blah blah" - so credit can still be given. Usually I have only been aware of this happening on item quests. When possible, try to get all appropriate characters signed up for the same quest at the same time (this is actually a painful process by the time you get to Sebastio on Brimloch Roon because his speech is very very very very very long and you have to listen to the whole thing for each character - a pain, but those guild levels are important!)
The rat skull is a great paper weight, The Urn of Old makes a nice ashtray. Toss em. Wyv |
