OK, the Idol of Aku is used for two reasons (change back into original form, and is for a quest), but what is the other one for? You know, you go through all those traps, and find a Idol surrounded by fire. You find some Boogre Brew, 2 chests, and a few potions and powders. What is that Idol used for? I used the Boogre Brew on it, and it said you feel a slight tingling sensation. What does the Idol do exactly?

Maybe it's just a Idol of the distant cousin of S' Kesser Da..

If you use the brew on it correctly - you can get new skills/traits or increases to stats!!

Not bad!

You might have actually had such an increase without realising it. Though I do seem to remember the screen actually telling you what you get.

Nanobyte: it grants powers or attribute points to characters. I've gotten the Giantstrike and Berserk traits from it, as well as points in Fortitude (not worth it, the ankhs do that). Have each character "use" a Boogre Brew on the Idol, and then note what happens. If you don't like it, reload and try again.

I can't seem to give him JUST 5 gold pieces. Is there any way you can divvy up your gold? I don't think one Boogre brew is worth 6,000 or even 600 gold.

Ok. Here is what I got:

This goes perfect! My leader got Giant Strike, and my Barbarian (to-be) got Berserk! All my other characters got improvements in their Fortitude.

Three Boogre Brews will actually do, the Idol takes only every second one away (at least that is my exp).
And another exp is that chars starting as warriors get GIANTSTRIKE or something else, while wizzards, priests can only get Fortitude - still a good way to push Fortitude above 18 (24 is the real max).

Nanobyte: if you right-click on the moneybag, you can use divvy to split of 5 gold to give the barkeep.
Pascha: good exp. I've always wondered how that worked.
