Smitty hates me

Started the game over, thanks for the posts on how to do that from the inn in Valeia. Went to Smitty for quests and the first, last and only one he will give me is the Toad Village. No Mon the Sculz nor Sword of Mastus. Would like to train my warriors and barbarians. What gives? Have completed Toad quest. Is there a glitch or do I just need to keep talking to him? Do I need to kill the 4 Scabbans? Have stopped before opening the tombs to try to get hime to give me quests. Confused.

Tis a strange occurence indeed!
I just started up my game and reset adventures both with removing the characters from my party first and not.
Both times the game started over from the beginning with the speech from Gareth and when I joined the Warrior's guild, the first quest was Mon The Sculz.
Looks like your game did not know that it was restarting from the beginning, although you should have gotten the quest for the Mastus sword if Smitty said you finished the toad quest.
I'm stumped but I don't want to leave you without knowing that we care LOL!
I hate to tell people to restart their games, but you can do it without having to save and see if it happens that way again.

It sounds to me like you pressed 'revert game' in the Valeia Inn, but haven't gone to game options and pressed the reset adventures button there. At least that would explain your situation.
