I downloaded the level 30 xp cap adjuster, and such, and then opened up my quicksave, and some of my characters, who had previously reached the xp cap, jumped up like, 2-6,000 xp!! And it wasnt like it was some nice adjusted, even 4000 xp or something, it was like, 4,086. Why did this happen, and why didn't everyone jump the same amount? Is the game granting me all of the xp that i should have from the previous quests and monsters i killed after i reached the cap?

Which cap adjuster? I would assume it would scale all your party members the same way.

The game should adjust every party member the same way. Did you perchance switch party members ? This could explain why some are getting more experience then others.

The game dosent allocate XP cuite correctly, although the error is never greater than one. Characters at the top of the list will gain *slightly* more XP than those at the botom. So when you put in the cap remover, you gain the XP youve earned while at the cap, and its different for each character.

basically to simplify things

your main char hacks some people up hits whatever his max is and say is on 150,000 exp

xan for example who hasnt been playing as long is say on 140,000 exp you keep on killing and have gone as far as you know 50,000 past the exp cap but obviously you cannot keep levelling, worry not, soon as you remove the exp cap all that exp magically appears as its stored in a temporary file, you dont lose any at all i did that myself and was able to level immediately upon removing the exp cap (left it a bit late i think ) though erm what would happen if i did two levels past the exp cap anyone know? would it stack the levels or just give me one and meltdown

I didn't switch characters or anything. I have my main character, a pure fighter, Imoen, Kivan, Yeslick, Minsc and Dynaheir. Several of my characters were at varying experience levels before I reached the experience cap, like minsc was (roughly) 2000 or so xp higher than kivan, and both of them were about 1000 behind my main character. Dynaheir, Minsc, Kivan and my character were at the xp cap before i downloaded the adjuster. Then they all jumped those weird values.
