I bought Wizards & Warriors yesterday. It seems like a great game, but I can't get hardware acceleraton to work.
The only choice I get on the options menu is software driver. I have an ATI Radeon 64Mb 3D-card, and I have tried both the latest and earlier drivers. I have DirectX 8 installed, and I also installed the beta patch for W&W, but I still can't choose hardware driver. Doesn't this game support the excellent Radeon? And if so, why not? This is really annoying - I hope someone can give me some information here. I don't want to play this game in software mode! |

Sorry for the bad news, but the Radeon is not supported by the game. Perhaps the card was too recent to incorporate support for it. There is some call for a patch with Radeon support, but I don't think it likely it will be there any time soon. So I'm afraid you'll have to play in software mode, which isn't too bad by the way.
