Priceless BG1 & ToTSC moments?

I'll start here:

I got into fight with Sarevok with my Paladin, Gabriel. I had Minsc, Imoen, Coran, Branwen and Dynaheir, and kept summoning Allies like no other. It would've worked wonders had I not garnered the attention of Angelo.

Angelo fireballed me and killed everyone including Imoen, Coran, Dynaheir and Branwen...AND SAREVOK! HE FIREBALLED HIS OWN BOSS TO DEATH WHEN HE FIREBALLED ME LIKE HELL!!!!

So I was left to watch the ending...

First time I beat Saverok I as using summoned skeletons to protect me, while I pounded him with ranged weapons. Then he broke through the last one and advanced towards me. I paniced and double-clicked a character, by the time I got back to the battle Saverok lay dead at Kivan's feet and I missed the final moment.

I like to play the game with the Subtitles on, so I don't miss any of the banters. I've seen some rather odd dialogues in my current game:

Quote:

Montaron- "It's a wonder you've lived as long as ye have."
Yeslick- "Watch what you say. Good-natured I am, but I swing a mean ax where evil's concerned!"

You use an AXE, Yeslick?

Quote:

Montaron- "Effective. I may not kill you after all."
Garrick- "Thank you so very much for that most gracious compliment."

Quote:

Nimbul- "Taking reward for this easy a kill is almost a crime. Hee hee."
Imoen- Critical Hit
Imoen- Backstab Double Damage
Nimbul- Damage Taken (8)
Nimbul- Death

Quote:

Commoner- "Don't bother me again, or the guards will have you boiled in oil! Or perhaps....fricaseed in oil. With some salmon white sauce, and those little breadsticks that are just SO good. Yum."

Heh,some of those dialogues are really funny (or weird). One quite weird from Xzar is "I wanted the infravision like the elves,but `tis more than taking their eyes" Or something like that.I often wonder what the dialogue writers have been thinking or when was the last time they slept. [img]tongue.gif[/img]

How do you get it on subtitles?

There's a parameter called "Subtitles" in the Baldur.ini file under the main directory. Open it with Notpad, scroll down, and where it says Subtitles=0, change that to Subtitles=1.
