When your party just left the city of Valeia, and got so engrossed in the local plant life that the became aware of the dangers only when they were starting to get surrounded by all sorts of enemies, this cheat may be just the thing you might be looking for.

Go back to the city walls, slow enough that the assorted creatures follow you, and climb the gates. You don't even need athletics skill for that; just look up press arrow up and '0'. Do stop pressing the up arrow when you've reached to top, or you might drop down the other side (and your cute botanist pixie might not survive that!). Now you're up on the gates, you may freely move over gate and walls, and find a place with a nice view of the amassed waylayers. Then you can start shooting at them weapons and magic. And if you're out of mana: just get yourself a cup of coffee and wait until it has recharged. Even the brigand leader (found near where you find the horse) won't shoot back.

I still have to try out if this also works for a certain dangerous species of noxious plant life; I'll let you know.

Excellent tip!!!

Perhaps they should practice climbing those walls before they lure all the bad guys back to the gates!

Just back from a disastrous meeting with (only) 2 mantraps. Those nasty girls seem to have learned to look up; no hiding from their breaths on the gate. Too bad.

Practising? Hey, give those creatures a break too will you! They'll have a hard time as it is.

"girls"????

What makes you think they are "girls" and do you also think that all ladybugs are girls too?? LOL!! (just kidding)

Back to the top to help (hopefully) someone with a MANtrap problem.
