When you kill Sarevok, the game is over, and you can't do all the other stuff.

Sarevok is the very last thing in BG, so you can do everything up to that point. (I myself went all the way up to the temple door, then exited to Ulgoths beard. And it was still a challenge. But Im a far better player now, so itll be easier next time)

You can get to Ulgoths Beard, IIRC, by going north from the bridge sector.

Go North from the priestess cabin where you did the fisherman quest and after you clean out the farm of what needs to be cleaned out...that is pretty obvious and simple...then presto you are at ungolths beard

It is the end place for the quests, but it is also the placer where you get those quests. Or, to put it in words that actually make sense, you go to the TotSC areas from here essentially.

You could say that. Every TotSC quest starts from there. Theres also some really good stuff in the store there. Well worth the trip. Save *before* starting any quests though, most of them you cant just give up and come back later if you discover its too tough.
