Want more HP? Ok, First off, open your game, and make sure all the Characters in your Party have FULL hit points. Then save your game, remember which slot you save it in.
**NOTE : write down the characters name and HP.
Then Close the Game.
Next open up the windows calculator and put it in Scientific mode. Then type in your characters HP value, and then hit the hexadecimal button, WRITE DOWN THIS NUMBER next to your character. Repeat for all your characters. Then switch back to Decimal and type in the HP value you WANT to have, then press the hexadecimal button again. WRITE DOWN THIS VALUE.
Next close the calculator, and open up your Hex Editor Program. I use Cygnus, its free, works just fine. Open up the save game you last saved. Scroll all the way down to the character you want to give more HP too. Ok, now, you will have to find your Hexadecimal HP value. its very easy to find.
EXAMPLE : If your HP value was 27, and you press the hexidecimal button, you will get the value 1B. In your save game file, at the VERY Bottom, find your characters name off to the side, now, look about 10 times down or so on the hexadecimal side, and you will find this value "1B 00 1B" change this value to "5E 00 5E" and you will now have 94 HP. Simple enough right? Repeat this step for all your characters. Thats it and good luck

Try this little program that I use alot, Universal Game Editor

http://pw1.netcom.com/~jhartman/index.html

It runs in DOS and you can save values for attributes to gold. You can set it up to edit 18 characters which you premake in the game, just right down their stats and search for them un UGE and change. Only problem I found is UGE will not access Program Files folder so move the Roster.dat file and edit or install game in different directory like X:\Games\W&W.

You don't have to modify your savegames. All the infos are stored in the ROSTER.DAT file. So have your characters go to the inn, remove them from the party and quit the game. You can now change the values in the roster.dat file. Dont' forget to make a backup of the file before !

if you are really really desperate to up hit points simply cast toughen on a character outside of town, enter then leave and the HP are now permanant. you will of course only get 1HP on level ups after doing this.
