I can't seem to pick up the cyrstal ball at the gypsies camp. i gave her the Serpant wand and she open the door. I also gave 300 gold for my fortune. I have been given the quest in the guild but still cant pick up the cyrstal ball WTF!!!!!

You're looking for the Orb of Clarity, which she gives you in trade for the Serpent Wand. Check in the inventory of the highlighted character, should be there, looks like an amulet of life but cannot be worn or used. The Crystal Ball itself apparently is only useful to gypsy queens..

I had this trouble, I got all the goodies from the fireplace. But she didn't give me the Orb of Clarity. At a latter date I went back and killed her then picked the Orb up and some gold as well.
