During my lunch time frollick through the Sword Coast, I found my Paladin, Adrianna, in the lower level # 3 of the tower. She was locked in combat with some nasties in the Throne Room and Minsc withdrew out of the range of those smelly spells, to a point between two columns along the wall. Battle over, Adrianna victorious, form company six pack, march. And Minsc could not move. No obstructions in his way; just seemingly stuck. Ratzafratza. Reload, battle again, this time Minsc stays in open, battle over, form company six pack, march. Minsc obeys orders this time. Very strange. Some sort of AI bug probably.

It isn't just in Durlag's Tower it can happen in several different places in BG, the phenomena also occurs in IWD so I believe it is a bug with the game engine. It doesn't occur very often so that is a good thing. It has happend two me twice before in BG but not in the Tower. When I am stuck like this one possible escape instead of a reload is to rest.

That same thing hapenned to me many times except that it was with Jaheria. So not only did I have to put up with her mouth but the freaking tree-hugger kept getting stuck.
