Does Imoen come with you into BGII with all of the abilities she had in BGI?

If so, I was thinking about dual classing her after getting her Theif abilities to a respectable level and then dual classing her to mage like some of you have talked about before.

I can give you more info on Imoen but are you sure you want the spoilers? As for dual classing Imoen I did change her to a mage once she reached 6th level thief. It was a nice mage combination with Dynaheir. However, be mindful that your party will be without the services of a thief until she reaches 7th level unless you take on another thief. To do might weaken your party though. What I basically did was explore every nook and cranny that I could in every map I could in order to garner the experience needed to get her up in levels. Once she did i thought it was worth it, but of the three times I played I only did it once.

When you import your game into BG2, imoen's levels will be reset to those that are set by the game, to insure that she is dualled to a mage, as the developers intended, so unless you want her dualclassed for BG1, it is really just better to let the game do the work for you and automatically dual her once you start BG2.
