Talon of the Gloomfrost corrected

While playing I found out that the Talon of the Gloomfrost does not confer a 10% fire and cold resistance as stated in the item description.
So I whipped out my IE Mod Tools and corrected that.

Should anyone (especially my fellow druids)

be interested in getting the corrected version of the scimitar just PM or mail me and I will send you the item file for placement in your override folder.

Cool, have you found any other bugs? I was thinking of shoving fixes like this into a future version of the Icewind Dale Tweak Pack at http://www.gibberlings3.net so would gladly add it there if you'd like. [img]smile.gif[/img]

That's the only inconsistency I could find up until now, I'm afraid. Hey, wait... that's a good thing!

Anyway, I'll gladly send you this small fix and any others I might make in the future to add to your tweak pack.

As a matter of fact, I'm using it myself and have found your tweaks to be useful indeed. [img]smile.gif[/img]

Should anyone else come across items that do not perform as they were meant to in IwD just give me a call and I'll see what I can do.

Having small fixes like these in one place (or in one pack) kind of reminds me of the baldurdash.org bugfixes, and that can only be a good thing.

Just a heads-up. [img]smile.gif[/img] I am finishing off the new version of the tweak pack and will announce when it's all done.

This fix has been added as an 'Assorted Fixes' component, which will grow as new original game bugs are found and fixed.

Good to hear Andyr.

While playing I came across some inconsistencies (not bugs per se) such as:

Boots of Speed do not display the 'Haste' icon beneath the character portrait while Boots of the Fox (with the same increase in movement speed) do.

Boots of the North (50% cold resistance) do not display the 'Protection from Cold' Icon, while the Elven Chainmail of the Hand +3 (with 20% cold resistance) does.

There are quite a few of these inconsistencies but since they do not influence the item's usability/efficiency I usually do not bother to correct them.

Should you, however, be interested in having these items fixed just give me a call and I'll send them your way.
